Established in 2007, Phoenix Centre For Learning was born from a passion to empower every Students through structured, sequential, multidisciplinary, and multisensory programs tailored to their individual learning needs. Our vision is to nurture young minds into knowledgeable, confident, and self-reliant individuals, capable of meeting the challenges of the real world with enthusiasm and resilience.
We work with Students across various learning stages, providing both academic and vocational support. Our programs place a special focus on Students with learning differences, slow learners, and those needing personalized attention, helping them thrive not just in academics but in life.
Our Mission
To foster a lifelong love for learning by providing a nurturing environment where every Students can discover their strengths, overcome challenges, and become a responsible and compassionate global citizen.
Through a result-driven, engaging, and empathetic approach, we support Students in developing lateral thinking, strong foundational knowledge, and positive learning habits that align with their school curriculum and beyond.
Founder Director
Lakshmi Balakrishnan
Phoenix Centre For Learning was founded by Lakshmi Balakrishnan, an educator and visionary committed to realizing each learner’s full potential.She is very passionate about Supplementary Education , providing opportunity for students to discover themselves and enjoy learning , Her rich and varied experience in guiding and enabling students from different background to attain their potential encouraged her to start the Phoenix Centre for Learning . She brings with her a love for learning and a dream to create strong and independent adults .
Her belief that “every Student is unique and deserves the right guidance at the right time” is the foundation for everything we do at Phoenix.
She completed schooling from Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan, Lakshmi was actively involved in cultural activities and trained in Bharatanatyam, Carnatic vocal music, and veena during her school years. She holds a PGDBA in Finance, and her global exposure includes working with Students in creative, fun-filled learning environments in the US and Europe. She has also completed specialized training in Students and adolescent development at NIMHANS, Bengaluru.She holdsa certificate in POSH(Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplace , from The Institute Of Company Secretaries of India.
Lakshmi is also the co founder of Chord Music Academy, an Educationist and Entrepreneur with a passion for performing arts. She brings with her a love for learning and her rich and varied experience in guiding and enabling students attain full potential, and her commitment to supplementary education is rooted in her passion for helping Students discover who they are and enjoy the learning process.
